Welcome to Bauman Custom Woodworking where we design and build cabinets for multiple rooms in the home. We have been serving our customers in Northeast Ohio for the past 26 years. It is our pleasure to work with local clients and homeowners.
I first started building items out of wood as a hobby then built items for friends and neighbors. This turned into more work than I could do in my "hobby time."
In 1994 I began to do woodworking full time. My delight is still to see customer's ideas become reality in the projects we do for them.
Handcrafted to us means we actually make and build the projects ourselves. Custom means we do whatever we can to achieve the end results that the customer desire to see in their project. We use computer generated 3D design to give visual aid to our design process.
Our goal is to use the talents and resources God has blessed us with in a way that will glorify Him and be a benefit to wonderful clients. It has been a privilege to establish relationships with local people and families thru working in their homes. ~ Stuart Bauman.

They provided us with a lot of support in working to help plan a layout and making suggestions about custom design to best fit our needs. Stuart suggested we consider a microwave drawer in our island and we love this extra, more functional touch. Their team was able to provide us with a wide selection of representative project experience and samples of wood types and finishes. We chose a cherry wood and a medium brown finish that they worked to ensure matched with the other woodwork in out home. There is truly not enough wonderful things I can say about Bauman Custom Woodworking!!! The quality of work they showed and attention to detail were like none other. They made sure that from beginning to end I was completely pleased with the work and any adjustments that needed made. They also were very neat, quiet, and calm throughout the process which I really appreciated since I have had many other remodels done and it always felt chaotic. Plus, I always needed to clean up for hours after they would leave. Lyndon always made sure everything was neatly cleaned up before they left. The only thing that may make you worried is a lack of communication prior to your job. But, don’t let that deter you in the least because I think that they are just so busy that until they are focused on working your job they don’t have the time to easily respond. When they are working on your project though you will receive emails and text messages just checking and clarifying things so the project comes out perfect. I couldn’t be more happy with my gorgeous kitchen and the work they accomplished. They also did the tear down of our old kitchen, installation of our range hood, installed our sink and garbage disposal, and did some electrical work to put under cabinet lighting in. My wife and I are blown away with our new kitchen. The quality of our cabinets are amazing. Stuart was easy to work with in implementing what we wanted in our new kitchen. Making sure of all the little details weren't missed. Having custom made cabinets eliminates having to work around specific size cabinets, like you get in the box stores. Things can be made to fit, as needed. The refrigerator cabinet is deep enough for a true built in look. Lyndon did a great job on the installation too. Making sure we were happy with the way things looked. I did the demo and the reconstruction of the kitchen, and hired Bauman Custom Woodworking to build and install cabinets. Stuart and Lyndon willingly answered a lot of questions I had, (which were quite a few, me being a DIYer), that had nothing to do with the cabinets. Always polite and professional, and pretty much completed each step of the process within a few days of what he had originally said. We would highly recommend Bauman Custom Woodworking for any project someone might have. You would expect to have to pay a lot more for custom cabinets, but comparing their price to another quote we received, that wasn't custom cabinets, it wasn't that much more, considering the quality you receive.
